前天,終於安排到我們美國羅德島州布朗大學醫學院骨科複診。
我的骨科醫生盛讚一年前台灣呂大醫師的手術極為成功,以致無需再安排專門的康復訓練。
事實勝於雄辯——從2025.6.12手術恢復到2026.7.1的結果照片:完美(Perfect)——我現在的醫生脫口而出!
六年前,我習慣地走在自家的停車道上,一個正常的回身,我已經常有些疼痛的右腿的膝蓋像突然被一把「生物鎖」鎖住動彈不得!完了,我的膝蓋!下半輩子的生活質量會是怎樣?!不敢想像,雖然我有彤和孩子們無微不至的照料,那他們畢竟不能代替我走路、起居、生活啊!
開始了2-3年的膝蓋更疼痛的階段,以至用「拐」、用「助步器」,期間感染「新冠病毒」,二次轉「肺炎」;大傷了我的元氣……。因為我畢竟是82歲,在大陸又曾被判了28年政治徒刑,實際坐了二度16年「冤獄」的當年頭號政治犯……。
開始了二年左右的尋覓……千辛萬苦。
終於在網絡上找到了呂大醫師:他能夠神奇地用「微創手術」解決「筋膜內側皺襞」,去除膝蓋疼痛。
那是「西元1995年,關節名醫、大林慈濟醫院關節中心主任呂紹睿在為病人進行膝關節清洗手術時,發現有個從未見過的奇特病變就隱藏在膝關節深處,直覺地清除它之後,想不到原本要置換人工關節的膝蓋竟然好轉了。這驚鴻一瞥觸動了他內心的福爾摩斯魂,開始對『骨性膝關節炎』展開長達10年的探索與追捕。」

他發現:經年累月摩擦…「內側皺襞」粗糙如菜瓜布。
「『內側皺襞』是什麼呢?內側皺襞是當我們在母親子宮裡發育時,殘留在膝關節內的構造,外形像衣服的皺褶;每當膝蓋彎曲、伸直時,內側皺襞和關節軟骨便互相摩擦,產生『內側摩擦現象』」。

以我一貫的自信,認定:就是他了,呂大醫師!!!
2024年初,我開始用越洋電話找到呂大醫師所在醫院:大林慈濟醫院,如同天使一般的「國際接待處」的姿穎小姐,她出現了。她告訴我:呂大醫師的號,現在是全台灣最難掛的號;你要2025年初,才可以掛號,我會等待你。
2025年元旦後,台灣上班。我幾乎第一時間打進第一個掛號電話,姿穎小姐盡可能地安排我2025年6月2日初診。我也同時請姿穎轉告呂大醫師:我的基本情況和背景。
與此同時,我們又遇到此次台灣行的第二貴人:離慈濟醫院車程15分鐘的「禾楓覓月館(旅館)621台灣嘉義縣民雄鄉進興街89號」的夜班負責人小許。他和他的同事們讓我們用最少的支出,享受了在台灣三個月「溫暖如家」的生活(後文有簡單圖片介紹)。
2025年6月1日我們抵達台灣,次日初診。姿穎小姐迎候在大廳,迅速辦理完一切手續;很快就見到呂大醫師,不約而同:我們竟真像——
呂大醫師仔細診看、拍片確診:你來晚了,錯過了微創去除「內側皺襞」、治療膝蓋疼痛的時機,需要手術半置換。你自己決定。我答:我相信您,手術,半置換。
呂大醫師讓助理緊急安排,徐先生無法在台灣住太久的時間,助理答:恰好6月12日有一個「空檔」。那就12日。
呂大醫師親自「披掛上陣」,安慰我幾句,就手術了。
特別貼心的是麻醉師說:徐先生,您的事蹟我們連夜都拜讀了,很是敬佩,為您做手術是我們的榮幸,放心!我認為,您年齡偏大,不宜全麻,我會一直、片刻不離地守在這裡……。
40分鐘左右的手術異常順利。
我剛剛醒來,麻醉師就主動去見了我太太,讓她放心!
第二天一早,呂大醫師代領一、二十位醫護人員來查房,他大聲、一語雙關地說:徐先生,您的骨頭是真夠硬
的!
之後八天七夜慈濟醫院住院
